The area

Set in the Pas de Calais region of Northern France nestling in the area of the Seven valleys close to the coastal towns of Le Touquet and Berck sur Mer. The area boasts numerous golf courses suitable for all abilities, as well as a large number of fishing lakes. Close to the Somme and the WW1 battlefields - Why not  visit the WW1 cemetery at Etaples close to Le Touquet, the Canadian monument at Vimy Ridge, or go back further in time and visit the new centre at Agincourt. Only 1.5 hrs drive away from the channel port of Calais and Eurotunnel.  From Boulogne take the D901 to Montreuil or the coastal route via Hardelot and Etaples

Closer to home you can spend time messing around on the river at the kayak club in Beaurainville and Montreuil or spend an hour or two catching Trout at the local lake.  During the summer walks for all ages and abilities are arranged by and start from la marie (town hall) If two wheels are more your style then cycles are available for hire in Beaurainville. Markets take place on Wednesday in Beaurainville, Thursday in Hesdin and on Saturday in Montreuil where you can try the local produce and seafood.
